08:57 am - Resolution After yesterday, the "heck care" attitude just kicked in already. No point growing white hair early in life.
After yesterday, I am glad we sat down and talked. Misunderstanding blown to dizzying heights. But I am glad we all talked. Once this is settled, I hope it will be the last of this sorts.

At the end of the day, we both lost and shot ourselves in our own feet. And I endedn up with a bigger bullet in my sole than you. Thank god you pulled the plug early. I couldn't.
----------------------------
N, watch what you are saying to D. It's getting pretty pissing off what you are doing. Know your fucking limits. You are beginning to get on everyone's nerves with your funny business.
If big shit is about to pop, let them deal with it themselves. And think about it if you say you are helping a friend. D is my bro. If I let him solve shit himself, what more can you say about helping a friend? And it's not like he's the one fucking things up.

10:18 am - Whoever Wins, The Loser is the one Who Wasn't Involved I got something to say today. And it's really what I think of certain stuff that has been on my mind and really, these are a must for me to say out. After this, I don't care what your impression of me becomes. I learnt not to care after last term already. I say what I feel is right. You can hate me after this, but at least I know I spoke the truth and what some others may be feeling as well.
------------------------------------------
SIP is 1/3 through and honestly no matter how people view it, I enjoy working. There are only so many times you look forward to going to work and yes, partly because my bosses are nice but the fact is we are getting the same taste of reality as others out there. I would say I was the luckier ones to get the intern spot at the firm. But then again, I didn't suck up for them to accept me. I won fair and square.
That aside, I've seen some of the dirty side of reality and yes, forgive me if I believed that this kinda shit only happens on Channel 8 but I have been reading case files on husbands abusing their wives and kids, family men cheating on their wives, gambling the fortunes away and money-grabbing people. I didn't believe it when they warned me family law was special. Now I know why. And that's why I made a vow that in whatever way I can, I am never stepping into Family Court as the capacity of a Plaintiff or a Defendant.
As a boss said: "I rather people fight over money than fight over children"
Goes to show that there are so many pieces of shit out there that makes good men become black listed. Blame it on my upbringing, but it's an unpardonable sin for a man to cheat on a woman. No reason, no excuses, no pathetic "But I was..." Burn in hell, bastards. Burn.
Has it ever occurred to you that when you cheat on and fight with your wife, the one who ultimately loses are the children? Your own fucking children.
------------------------------------------
Some people talk the talk and always never walk the walk. Advice to them: Zip it and start showing us why we shouldn't be annoyed with you. Afterall, it does get irritating and it really sounds like you are attracting attention / sympathy. As a friend puts it "95% of your target audience doesn't give two shits about what you are saying on (this topic)"
So get the hint. It's starting to piss people off, especially when you talk the fake talk. I could say it to your face, my friend. I don't beat about the bushes, you of all people should know because your very roots are the same as me. Yeah, we are all working in SIP too. Our workloads may not be the same as you, but that doesnt mean we go around announcing it on the public domain.
Perhaps you are showing potential to becoming what your posts are all about. But then again, 95% of the people will tell you "Fuck. That. Shit."
------------------------------------------
I heard and saw disturbing things yesterday. 3 days that I haven't seen the fellows and I finally learnt that shit like that is going around.
I got alot to say on it. And I am not afraid to say, not afraid if you dig open my can of worms to show the world too, because you have gone one step too far the moment you pressed the "send" button.
We saw what you were doing, but it was in the shades of grey. We suspected, yeah. Obviously, any idiot would have questioned when one is constantly going out with somebody. Oh yes, my man, we know. But we said nothing, didn't we? You are her friend and that's what we thought also. But that's all you, me and the others can also ever be. Friends to them. So if we don't get our hands dirty, why are you doing this kind of shit?
Of the 3 of us, GLa is the one who sympathises most of your 9-year old bullshit when you are fucking 19 already. He has been the most patient and the most emphatic one to your nonsense. Me? Honestly, I told everybody that at 19, when you still have major issues with yourself, you are fucked, my man. I don't question you about what you are doing with your life. But seriously, what the fuck are you doing?
You saying our words are bullshit. How about you think of your actions when you are with us? Talk to you, you reply like fuck. Hanging out with us, you go home early. We talking about some shit, you just keep quiet. It's not that everybody must have something to say on the topic but really, just sitting there and playing music and smoking that 3rd stick in half an hour? 4 months compared to AT LEAST 3 years, which is more? For girls, you can be such a show puppy for their laughter, affection and conversation. And I am not alone in saying that. Ask around.
I am not taking sides. You should know that I will side with who's right and condemn who's wrong. But as always, you will have your own point of views and reasons for behaving the way you did. I mean come on, being __________ because you don't have a girlfriend? Lame. Honestly fucking lame. Like that, all of us would have been ___________ at one point of time. But we weren't?
Seriously, I am starting to think you should find a shrink to tell you what's wrong with you. Get this: I don't hate you. I never hated anybody. I just hate the actions one do to make themselves look like bastards.
I just hope you will see that our point is that you don't fucking interfere, just like us. We sit tight and wait for the bomb to explode. WE DON'T PULL THE PIN OURSELVES, although actually you did it already and made some of us get dragged into it. Don't detonate anything further.
------------------------------------
Like I said, I don't really care what you think about me. I don't live and get my life support on the affections of others. If I have to say it, I will. I can be a friend and just watch everything unfold into a channel 8 drama. But as a teammate and bro to both sides, whoever wins, you two won't be the ultimate loser. The loser is her.

06:22 pm - Resurrected Gone is the Mark Zheng haunted by the thought that there is still something I must do after the operation. Today, I laid it to rest. Even though we were expectedly booted out at the group stage, we were all winners in our own ways.
For me, sliding on my back is now perfectly fine. The 1 goal scored was to sweeten the finality of it and at the end of the day, it proves to others that no dream is too impossible to reach. When you are in the process of making your dream come true, the feeling inside is just dope.
We fought hard, gave them a run for their money and challenged to the end. Yeah there were mistakes, but at the end, we did well altogether.
So ends our last competition as a Temasek Poly Law student. Once the fear of not recovering in time for it, today I was part of the team.
Who says dreams don't come true?

September 19th, 2009
05:50 pm - RIP 11 months I waited. Tomorrow my epilouge will be written. Tomorrow, the lasts traces of the recovery will disappear from the first second.
How it all ends, depends on how I design it to be. Whatever happens, just know that being able to play football again has been a blessing.
The finality of it is in the air. It's not like I can make the scar vanish, but it gives me the hunger to prove that the scar did nothing to me.
Tomorrow. 11am. ECP Cage.
The ghosts of TTSH and CGH shall be laid to rest there. Those nights spent thinking whether life still had meaning, whether football was just a dream, whether I will be even walking.
It ends tomorrow.

05:04 pm - Timeline of a Dream Coming True.

Because of you guys, and those not inside, I can finally smell my dream coming true. It all began like this:
15 October 2008
"I cried today in public. I cried because I have a feeling my soccer career is gone. I cried because I remembered all the times I spent on the field and my finest hours as an MPFC player, as the stand-in captain and as the centre back they used to know. I cried because I cannot walk now even though I know I can."
18 October 2008
"As of now, I am on MPFC's long term injury list. But hell no am I calling time on a short career with them. Neither am I giving up the dream to captain Temasek Poly's Law course in the competition Miss Yu was talking about. That will be a most perfect swansong to Poly life and the dark times that I have fought.
I am dreaming again. But while dreams may seem distant, there is a chance it will come true as long as you have a little faith in God and yourself. Right now, walking may seem to be a dream too wild. But I know that one year on, I will be dreaming of walking the team out and fighting for glory on the field again."
15 November 2008
"If there ever was a sign that in 2009 I will be back on the field, last night was the clearest indication.
Three strikes of the ball with my rejuvenated right leg.
And I was in mini-heaven.
Dreaming big, dreaming for the future."
17 November 2008
"So when they tell me my chances of playing are 50 - 50 in future, it is actually:
51% Play again : 49% Switch to some gu niang sports.
Cause I will fight tooth and nail to get back on the pitch.
And trust me, regardless of whichever doctor say whatever, I am playing soccer again."
3 December 2008
"I SCORED MY FIRST GOALS BACK AT HOMEGROUND AND IT FELT LIKE I WAS ON TOP OF THE WORLD. THE FEELING OF SCORING NEVER FELT SO SEXY AND GOOD BEFORE."
15 December 2008
"But 2009 is THE year for me. Last year of poly, it's a final chance to leave TP in the way I hope. Not to mention going back to Cage regularly, field soccer in March and finally the Rajah and Tan Cup (Not sure about the spelling, but you get what it). It was a dream since 17/10/2008 and it will be etched until I achieve my dream. Watch out people, I will push my body to the limits if I have to to get fit for that event."
17 Jan 2009
"It felt good. Even if I tweaked something in the right ankle, it was sure as hell satisfying to be back after 1 year plus. The match might not have ended in good spirits but the signs are there that I am back on track to achieve what I had i mind after the operation.
Ask me to give up soccer and change to another sport?
You would have more chance in asking the sky to fall can."
5 April 2009
"The last time I played a full 90 minutes for MPFC was way back in 2007. I can't remember what was the result but all I know was the very next match against Ming Fei's team, I got injured and never touched the football again..until 5 months ago.
So imagine the nerves I had when I had to be prepared for the first full match in a position where I was rusty and again new to. Got to admit, the rustiness is very much present, after calling offside wrongly twice and losing concentration in the second half, but if there was one good thing that I could take from the match it was that playing centre back again was lovely."
"nobody can tell me to stop playing football."
8 April 2009
"I commanded the defence for the first time in 1 and 1/2 years, very much in the pink of health. Sometimes, dreams come true you know?
So with the OFFICIAL green light to play football, it signalled a fist-pumping end to a fucked-up chapter in my life. Because now, the vision is coming true and I will see that it will come true.
13 June 2009
"3 years after converting to Centre Back, there can be no higher praise coming from a midfield general who is one of our star cameo apperance players. It's a personal milestone that I have managed to overcome multiple injuries, a back tumour and starting from the basics again to reach the level I am playing at today. But, there are lots more to go. There were errors in my own game today that I am trying to get rid of."
30 June 2009
"Mark, ya dream of walking out of CGH unsupported is not farfetch..you will definitely walk out on ya 2 good legs but u can nv get rid of the 'support'..The support we give..the support which will be embedded inside..so ya not gonna do it for yaself aight? Do it for us too k? Be the mark we know..be the CB we know..be a better man than wad u already are when u come out..I behold the days we gonna play soccer again..Take care"
29 July 2009
"I landed on my back for the first time since after the operation"

11:47 am - BPL Fever So the Barclays Premier League kicked off a few weeks ago, and to be honest the kick off was welcomed with the gloomy realisation that my favourite team was in a transitional period. CR has left, so has Tevez and suddenly when you look at the midfield, you would be forgiven to think that we could possibly gift wrap the title to others this season.
Awesome as Saturday / Sunday nights have returned with a bang, the fact that the BPL has suddenly became more boring was masked by Fantasy Premier League. Yeah, go ahead call us geeks but don't diss us for loving the football.
So here it is, my observations and predictions for the season. 2 players from each team that will be the core backbone to the team's aspiration. I decided to wait for 4 games because I realised I didn't even know who the hell were Burnley or Wolves first team selections and I would have looked retarded spotting a player to lift the team when all he does is stop the subs bench from lifting. Here's my take on the stars of BPL this season.
----------------------------------
Arsenal - Andrey Arshavin and Thomas Vermaelen Great Expectations: Cesc Fabregas - Leading a younger than average team will be his challenge.
Branded England's Barcelona for the quick and visionary football that they display, one would expect attacking football of the highest element from a team that had the likes of Henry gracing it. Now, the main core of the team is Fabregas but my take is that AA will be the main supply line because of the fact that he has experience. Age may be on the other side of the 20s for Arshavin but this man is going to be a hit for the Gunners. So will Thomas Vermaelen although the price tag was hefty. Gunners fans will hope Gallas and him gets along. After 4 games, Vermaelen looks steady and already contributed a goal on his debut. The new centreback will be one to watch this season.
Aston Villa - James Milner and Ashley Young Great Expectations: Stiliyan Petrov - Close call between Cuellar and him, but filling Barry's boots will be more vital than filing Laursen's.
Villa are one of the few lucky teams to boast that they have solid English wingers, who are also proven internationals, as their main attacking threat. While Milner is the typical English winger, his partner in crime is perhaps the flying winger that Villa needs to spark the team up. Yes, they didn't have the best of starts and the departure of 2 core players in Barry and Laursen fuelled whispers that Villa are doomed this season, which gets louder after every loss. Villa needs Superman. And Flash. Not that Milner and Young have the characteristics, but much will be on their shoulders.
Birmingham - Joe Hart and Christian Benitez Great Expectations: Barry Ferguson - Experience + Relegation Candidate = Pressure to perform to ensure safety from relegation.
I won't mince my words. Birmingham are one of my three to go down this season. They don't look capable of making the grade in the BPL and call my cycnical but I see them going down. I might get proven wrong though, with the aid of two players. Joe Hart was one of the brightest England prospects and honestly, I would prefer him to Ben Foster. The weight o his shoulders this term will be to keep the goals out and pray for a win or draw. Hart looks reliable and must prove it this year. As for Benitez, this livewire was exciting during the few minutes that he got to play for each of the games and looks to be their main threat other than McFadden. He just could be the man to save them.
Blackburn - Benni McCarthy and Christopher Samba Great Expectations: Morten Gamst Pedersen - Simply because he is their best hope. Period.
Poor starts don't mean relegation, as Spurs found out last term after a stroke of brilliance from Harry 'Houdini'. However, I don't see Big Sam geting fired because he promises stability and results after settling in. One must, however, look at the players that Big Sam has and wonder who are the key players because in true blue honesty, they look lightweight. Benni McCarthy should contribute with the goals now that Santa Cruz has left, as he is the main threat, although Roberts has beeen making me feel stupid for typing the last line. Samba has to be the rock at the back for the reason that their defence looks very weak now that Warnock has left. True, Chimbonda has arrived but only time will tell.
Bolton - Matthew Taylor and Kelvin Davies Great Expectations: Fabrice Muamba - Life isn't fair when you know you could command Fabregas, Arshavin and Walcott instead of Cohen, Riga and Taylor. But that's the way it is.
As mentioned, poor starts don't mean relegation and I don't see Bolton going down..yet. Matthew Taylor was a revelation in the BPL and FPL last year and I have this gut feeling he is going to haul them out of trouble this season once he hits peak form. Naturally, Kelvin Davies fits in as the main man to star this season because of the expectations of goal scoring. Personally, he is my white Drogba (No racism intended). The way he holds up the ball and challenges aerially, although not always cleanly, resembles the top Drog. Bolton fans, cross your fingers.
Burnley - Andre Bikey and Steven Fletcher Great Expectations: Brian Jensen - Never heard of him before until Carrick hit his penalty into him. After that, he was legendary.
For most teams that come up, one could forgive them for dreaming of that fairy tale ending in which they beat the drop and beat at least one of the Big 4. Well, half the dream is accomplished at the expense of a terrible United side who showed the world that Brian Jensen existed. Although the real reality check occurred against Chelsea, two players have caught my eye. Andre Bikey is no footballer. The physique of this man is scary. But that's what Owen Coyle needs. He needs the defenders to dish out tough love and that's his best bet. Judging by form, they could just be this season's Stoke (grind out wins and defend as if their lives depends on it). Steven Fletcher comes with a reputation and I would think that the goal source is from him this season.
Chelsea - Didier Drogba and Michael Essien Great Expectations: Frank Lampard - Close call between Terry ad him but Lampard gets it because repeating his form is harder.
4 games, 12 points and goals are flowing. In fact, the only Big 4 team that didn't sell one of their main players are reaping the early rewards with diamonds. Carlo Ancelotti definitely has talent at his disposal and his team looks stable and to be honest, the only ones who look fit for the title as of now. Drogba has hit the form that was missing last term and for me, this season is going to be all about him. The athletic hitman has already bagged 3 goals and 3 assists. Together with him, Michael Essien gets my vote because in a midfield that will required a beast in it, Essien fulfills every criteria. He's the monster that will destroy the attacks of opponents. Champions? Looks likely.
Everton - Phil Jagielka and Steven Piennar Great Expectations: Tim Cahill - Close call between him and Fellaini but at the end of the day, Cahill has the bigger burden to score.
My first question after the 6-1 humiliation was "What in the blazes happened?!" Not that Arsenal was fantastic but the way Everton played made them looked awesome. David Moyes is one unlucky man. Funds are limited, players snub Everton and to compile his misery, you have Man City sweetly asking for Lescott. What Everton needs now, other than Jesus, is the return of Phil Jagielka. He was outstanding last year and could be the man to plug the hole in defence that has let in 8 goals in 3 games. Steven Piennar is the main creative force this season and from the way he is working, he could be the main creative source for Everton this season.
Fulham - Andy Johnson and Clint Dempsey Great Expectations: Brede Hangeland - Another repeat of form, he could be on his way out if Fulham don't qualify for Europa league.
While most fans expect another repeat showing of Europa League credentials, optimism should be kept at a low for Fulham. Their start of the season has been messy and granted Johnson has been ruled out with an injury (as always). But the worrying part for Fulham is that while the defence rivals a Big 4's defence, there are no other sources of goals other than AJ. True, Bobby Zamora has scored a goal, but that is already half of what he scored last season. Clint Dempsey could yet save Fulham from disaster with his crucial goals.
Hull City - Geovanni and Stephen Hunt Great Expectations: Seyi Olofinjana - Cheaper version of Essien and together with Boateng, must hold their own against other midfields
Barely scrapping through again is not what most Hull City fans would want again this season because given the way Hull City have did their business in the transfer window, they don't have much luck. But the bargain could prove to be one called Stephen Hunt A.K.A "The Man Who Made Cech Wear The Headgear". Floruishing would be an overkill of a description of his form but at this point, he has been creating and scoring and one would forgive me for saying he could be the main reason why Hull City stays in the hunt for mid-table spots. Geovanni, last season's spark, will have to bring his A-game on if Hull needs it when the going gets tough.
Liverpool - Dirk Kuyt and Fernando Torres Great Expectations: Steven Gerrard - Honestly, who else has so much responsibility?
Last season, they lost 2/38 of their games. This season, they lost 2/4 of their games. Men lie, women lie, numbers don't. Statistically, in order for Liverpool to finish second, they must not lose anymore. In order to finish first, they need prayers. Or Dirk Kuyt, who was a revelation last year with his tireless running and contributing of goals and assists. Ugly but pragmatic is the best term to describe Kuyt because he is not as elegant as others but still, he weighs in. Fernando Torres was every Liverpool's fan to be a saviour and he still is other than Gerrard but for that to happen again, injury-free is the first step. Just look at his finishing against Bolton. Benitez knows he needs it more than ever this season and why not? Torres is a classy striker but never doubt his quality.
Man City - Gareth Barry and Stephen Ireland Great Expectations: Whole team - Because all the names won't fit. After spending so much, nobody can be spared from performing.
Whenever Man City plays, you get the feeling that 4-2-4 is Mark Hughes preferred formation these days. And who could blame him? You'd be spoilt for choice too if you had that many quality strikers. From the way this season has started, they have corrected their defensive problems and added steel to their ranks. Lescott is a quality buy although the loyalty issue remains disappointing. This season, however, the onus will be on Barry to prove that he is an able midfield general and on Stephen Ireland to be magical as last season. And going by the way things look, with Adebayor averaging 1 goal per game, they are looking good. Especially Ireland. He may not be a household name but his style of playing is simple yet magical. Will too many cooks spoil the broth? Let's watch.
Man Utd - Nani and Darren Fletcher Great Expectations: Wayne Rooney - My main man this season and honestly, who else can Man Utd depend on for goals?
Gloomy. Pessimistic. Forced Optimism. That's the mood among most United fans this season because after the sale of Ronaldo and Tevez, the team suddenly looks lightweight and very unstable. Crux of the team remains, alongside new additions like Valencia and Owen (...) but the games played so far seems to suggest that either Man Utd are going to be very lucky this season or we can dream of Europa League. Worrying as it seems, Darren Fletcher and astonishingly, Nani have given fans hope that this season could be saved yet. Fletcher has been more than vital with his shackling and tackling in the past few games and one must wonder whether he must be shuffled along with the other midfielders whenever Ferguson chops and screws. Nani on the other hand is starting to get rid of his "Clown" tag. 'Nuff said.
Portsmouth - David James and Frederic Piquionne Great Expectations: The Manager after Paul Hart gets fired - Yeah, whoever it is, you are in deep trouble and you have to act fast.
Never has a team looked so doomed, even before the start of the season and yes, I was very confident in saying that Portsmouth would suffer this season. When Harry Redknapp left, you'd sense that it was the end. When Defoe and Crouch followed, my instant thought was "They are going down". On the bright side, which I really cannot understand how Portsmouth fans can manage to say it, David James should be their main man this season. Keeping goals out will be his job, but keeping him there is another massive job Paul Hart has to do. As for Piquionne, I must confess I haven't see n him play much but honestly, now that Kranjcar has also left, they need Piquionne to score. If he doesn't, God bless Pompey.
Stoke - Ryan Shawcross and James Beattie Great Expectations: Thomas Sorensen - He kept them alive once. He has to do it again.
Stoke surprised many last season, including me. Nobody would have expected their defence to be solidified with Ryan Shawcross, a Man Utd reject, and Abdoulaye Faye. The basis of surviving in the BPL is perhaps to focus on getting bargains for your defence and no doubt Shawcross has been a fantastic player both last season and now. As mentioned, stats don't lie and with 29 points, Shawcross is doing everything right at second place, losing only to Glen Johnson of Liverpool. While Shawcross defends, the pressure to score at the other end will be on James Beattie, a good acquisition in the middle of last season. He weighs in with the goals and watch him for more goals this season as Stoke fight for mid-table and perhaps, just a slight hope, Europe.
Sunderland - Kenwyne Jones and Lee Cattermole Great Expectations: Darren Bent - Mr. "Even my missus would have scored that" Bent will know he has to score this season, preferably against Spurs. Just to prove a point.
Steve Bruce brings with him stability and a good track record as a mid-table manager. Sunderland fans should feel safe because they are in good hands. On field, Jones is Sunderland's Drogba. Honestly, this targetman is everything you could ask for in a mid table team who once upon a time could not score. Jones has performed admirably in the games that he has played all along and he is the main focal point of attack. Cattermole meanwhile will be the "biter" in midfield to become the Mascherano of Sunderland. His job is ugly, violent and downright unpleasant but he is one who does it quite well.
Tottenham - Aaron Lennon and Jermain Defoe Great Expectations: Gomes - Must we say anything more?
What a difference one season is. At this time last year, Spurs fans were staring at relegation fears. Today, they are the only team other than Chelsea to have full points. While it may be premature to state whether they will challenge for the title, their squad suggests that they can and they will, based on form. Aaron Lennon has been one of the few miracles Redknapp invoked since his arrival, with the other being Ledley King playing two consecutive games, and Lennon has never looked back since. Speed and trickery used to be his forte. Now add scoring to that. As for Defoe, he is doing his World Cup chances no harm by smashing in goals and one would hope that his form helps Spurs to break the Big 4 monopoly.
West Ham - Carlton Cole and Mark Noble Great Expectations: Matthew Upson - The pressure is there to repeat his performances and justify his inclusion in England's WC team if he goes.
West Ham, despite many off field distractions, remain stable in my view. With a team that has promising players like Junior Stanislas and Mark Noble, it's easy to see why big teams always pick on them to get their best players. Mark Noble fits that category. He has the experience and although he is not a Frank Lampard, let us remember that Noble is following quite closely in Lampard's footsteps although whether he will leave Upton Park remains to be seen. As for Carlton Cole, there must be whispers that last season was his breakthrough season and quite honestly, I felt it was. Now it's time for the powerful striker to prove that he is more capable of defence splitting wizardry, although he might want to ensure it's not his own defence that feels his magic.
Wigan - Jordi Gomez and Hugo Rodallega Great Expectations: Roberto Martinez - Repeating what Steve Bruce did was always going to be something you have to emulate.
When Steve Bruce left and brought Lee Cattermole with him, I had my doubts that Wigan could survive this season. When they brought in Roberto Martinez and Jordi Gomez, deja vu and flashback to Paul Ince with Keith Andrews came. Ince lasted a few months. While that may be for his case, Wigan look ok for mid table and although they might flirt with relegation, my belief is that Rodallega and Gomez will score and pull the strings in the midfield for the Wigan engine. While it looks early to say whether they could be one of the doomed three, let us remember that Titus Bramble still commands the defence. Rodallega will have to outscore the mistakes that the defence makes.
Wolves - I must admit I haven't seen Wolves play properly and in this case, actually can't be bothered to. Therefore I shall reserve all predictions for Wolves until the half way point.
BPL is back indeed.

05:27 pm - > 1 Minute In less than a minute, I saw the most beautiful angel I ever saw since ________. She was like a star and ever since then, my mental wallpaper was the picture I saw. That was the knockout blow in my face and since then, I haven't been able to clear that image off my mind.
Holy shit. I think I just fell in love. As in, really.
In 2 pictures and 45 seconds, that kilo-watt smile took my breath away and has been on my mind ever since. No wait, in fact from the first picture, I was swept off my feet. She was that beautiful, beating even Emma Watson. And best thing is that she walks this very island we are on.
Who said angels don't roam the Earth should eat their words. One in a billion. Yeah. I think I just busted my marbles. Head in the clouds but heck, if you saw her, you would be floating like me.

01:24 am - On the Whole Right, so at the end of the day, nobody is to blame for making the world revolves right?
1. I cannot blame you. 2. I cannot hate you. 3. I cannot prevent you from doing what you have done.
So as much as I want to take a crowbar and smash it in your face, I cannot and should not. But I really hope there will be a day that presents itself the opportunity, although I know should I do it, I can forget about walking out with a good reputation.
Then again, my reputation is rock bottom already, what do I stand to lose?
Having said all that, the best way is to just adopt a "Fuck care la" attitude or "Whatever floats your boat" mentality and just get on with life. Afterall, if it's the way the world revolves, no amount of willpower will stop the inevitable from happening.
Just know this:
Fuck you, H and C. I was right all the time. Now I just have to watch it all turn into reality. And guess what, the best part is this is my karma. For all the shit I have done through the years, what went around is finally coming back. I just have to accept it and get a move on.
So not surprising. Fuck you once again and good night. Current Music: Alright - Twista Ft. Kanye West

03:40 pm - The Road Ahead

At the end of the day, we must ask: How many more of this are we going to have that we will miss when we finally outgrow it / won't be able to do it?
That night, as I sat there soaking in the good times, raising hell with the lads, the sobering realisation that it may be one of MPFC's last major group outings just happens to sink in because we know that come September, going out as a group is going to be twice, thrice as hard.
For a team that has been through the rough, the brilliant and the messy, we really lived a life different from any other neighbourhood kids. We cannot promise we won't do the shit things we do in future but as long as know we still lepak once in a while, we are still going to be every resident's worse nightmare. That, my friend, is a promise.
As we pulled together for one mega group picture, even though some smiles may not be as happy as they seem, we all know that we all had a good time making a fool out of ourselves and yet making sure that we were on our A-game, even if it's just for one night.
Cheers to Varun, Raiyan and Sam for celebrating their birthdays. And also to Jiehui. Congrats on getting older.

Though it may be in 2001, but still it's quite amusing.
Whatever the case, Happy Birthday to our nation.

06:32 pm - 1 Week, 1 Sentence. THE ONLY WAY TO SUMMARISE THE WHOLE WEEK:
"Troth sir, I can yield you none without words, and words have grown so false, I am loath to prove reason with them."
Feste In one sentence, he just voiced out whatever I went through this bloody week.

05:08 pm - Laptop Fail. So my laptop suffered it's second death and now I got to rely on either my bro's laptop or my mum's laptop to get connected with the outside world.
Haiz. I can swear and curse for all I want, but eventually I still have to accept that it is never going to start again until I reach over and SOS to Acer.
Hello, virus. That's two times you busted my com. It's now Virus 2 - 0 Mark Zheng's Laptop.
I don't see how my laptop will magically Dettol-ify itself overnight. This just turned my weekend into a more miserable one.

01:35 am - Painful Lesson I landed on my back for the first time since after the operation. I have to tell you, whatever that I have been saying about the scar not hurting when I try acrobats on the pitch, it freaking hurts this time for the simple reason I landed on a pavement.
Unexpected and something painful to learn from for life. Never ever turn my back when I am falling.

10:36 pm - Meaningful So I spent Thursday watching How I Met Your Mother Season 3 again on Thursday again and I was caught by this quote from Ted Mosby, the main man.
It goes as:
"Yes, chances are Stella and I are not going to live happily ever after. The overwhelming odds have it ending badly. And when that happens, it will be for one of a million possible reasons. But that doesn't mean I am not going to try! And when it does fail, so help me God, it's not going to be because of some rule (of dating)."

11:11 pm - (De)Motivate Me Please! So recently, I took to searching for demotivational posters to get a good laugh off the shit things people can think of. And some of them really put the laughter back in me. Watch this.

Jerry, this is to honour our inventions with GL. Awesome, ain't it?

How very true. And recently, it's been happening quite a bit.

Indeed.
Well, that's all for now. It's one hell of a busy week and I am just in the midst of it.

12:30 am - Life is Like Chess

Think very carefully, the moves that you want to make because what does not kill you, merely postpones the inevitable.
But, as like the old men who indulges in Chinese Chess at the coffeeshop, I am going to play my moves smartly and patiently. I am not going to risk a checkmate.

07:00 am - 1 Coin, 2 Sides, Both Tails. Bro I could take you on. But at the end of the day, like what I told you:
Whoever wins between us, ultimately we both lose.
And even if we don't compete, ultimately, we still lose.
There is no winner because either way, we are fucked. Such is the sad case scenario.
